Weelkit has three metrics sections under Metrics in the sidebar. Each one answers one question: Before an article is published, you work on its readiness in the editor. See Checks and publishing. After it’s published, its results show here.

Who can see Metrics

Editors, Managing Editors and Admins see Metrics, and so do custom roles that include viewing analytics. Writers and Designers don’t. See Roles and permissions. In AEO & GEO, Editors can read everything; Managing Editors and Admins can also add and change prompts.

Connect Google

Performance and Analytics read your Google data. An admin connects Google Search Console and Google Analytics in Organization settings → Integrations.
  • Search Console gives search clicks, impressions, positions, queries and indexing. It imports recent data first, then up to 16 months of older history in the background. Days still missing from the backfill remain unavailable.
  • Google Analytics gives views, users, engagement, channels and the actions readers take.
When a page needs a source that isn’t connected or needs fresh authorization, people who can open Integrations see Connect Google Search Console or Reconnect Google Search Console, with an Open integrations button. If you can’t open Integrations, the notice says “Ask an admin to connect Google Search Console and Google Analytics.” It has no button.

The controls on every metrics page

The page name is in the header, for example Performance › Search.

Period

Choose the period at the top right: 7D, 30D, 90D or 12M. The default is the last 30 days. For other dates, open the calendar, set From and To, and choose Apply.
  • Periods end yesterday, the last full day of data.
  • A custom range can cover at most 490 days, counting both From and To. This limit applies to Performance, Analytics and AEO & GEO. Apply stays unavailable if the range is too long.
  • The period stays the same as you move between Performance, Analytics and AEO & GEO.

Status line

At the top left, Last synced shows the last successful import, for example “Last synced 3 hrs ago”. Pages built from Weelkit’s own data show Syncing live instead. The sync time does not prove Google reported every day in the period. A coverage notice says how many days were reported; other days stay unavailable. Quota limits or interrupted backfills remain incomplete until the missing work succeeds. When a source has a problem, a warning appears next to it, such as Search Console sync failed or Analytics is out of date. Point at it for the details. Sampled data, grouped (other) rows and unavailable rows also have quality notices. Reconnecting does not clear those limits from previously imported data.

Summary strip and chart

Each page opens with a strip of headline figures. Under each figure, the change compares it with the previous period of the same length; point at the change to see which period, for example “vs previous 30 days”. Choose a figure to show its daily trend in the chart below.

Panels and View all

Panels are short ranked lists. Use the tabs at the top of a panel to switch the breakdown, for example Countries | Devices. When a list is longer than the panel, choose View all. The full list opens on its own page, with a search box, a sort menu and pages. Some Google reports keep only their largest rows; the list says so when that happens.

Unmeasured values

A value Weelkit couldn’t measure shows —, never a guess or a zero. In tables, point at the dash to see why, for example “Search Console is not connected”. For a period longer than one day, Users and Avg engagement time show — when the daily reports cannot establish distinct users for the whole period. A day’s user count can appear when one source reports it directly. Counts across days, pages or properties are not added together to guess a distinct audience. User counts in regrouped panels also show —. Connected, importing or reconnect-required sources never substitute sample figures for unavailable data. If part of a page can’t load, it says what couldn’t be loaded and offers Retry.
