# Analytics

> See how your whole website does: visitors, Google Search, AI assistants and AI crawlers, site speed and indexing, and your team's productivity.

**Analytics** covers your whole website and your team. Open it from **Metrics → Analytics** in the sidebar. Its pages are **Overview**, **Search**, **AI**, **Site health** and **Productivity**.

For one published article, use [Performance](https://docs.weelkit.com/metrics/performance.md) instead. See [How metrics work](https://docs.weelkit.com/metrics/how-metrics-work.md) for who can see Analytics, the Google connection notices and the shared period control.

## Overview

Visitors to your whole site, from Google Analytics.

* **Strip:** **Users**, **Sessions**, **Page views**, **Engagement rate**, **Avg engagement time** and **Key events**.
* **Pages** | **Landing pages**: the pages people view, and the pages they arrive on.
* **Articles** | **Categories** | **Authors**: views of your published articles, and of each category and author. Choose an article to open its Performance page.
* **Channels** | **Sources** | **Referrers** | **Campaigns**: where visitors come from. Referrers that are AI assistants are labelled **AI assistant**.
* **Countries** | **Regions** | **Cities**.
* **Devices** | **Browsers** | **Operating systems**.
* **New vs returning** | **Languages**.

**View all** opens the full list for any panel. Search it, sort it, and compare each row's **Share** and **Change**.

**Users** and **Avg engagement time** can show **—** for multi-day periods because daily reports do not establish distinct users for the whole period. The **Users** chart shows a day's reported count when it comes directly from one source; it does not guess distinct users across pages or properties. Regrouped panel user totals are also unmeasured.

## Search

Google Search Console for your whole site.

* **Strip:** **Clicks**, **Impressions**, **CTR**, **Avg position**, **Queries** and **Pages**.
* **Queries** | **Pages**, **Countries** | **Devices**, and **Search appearance**.
* **Sitemaps:** each sitemap Google knows for your site, with its **Submitted URLs**, **Errors**, **Warnings**, and when Google **Last read** it.

## AI

Visitors that AI assistants send you, and whether AI crawlers can read your site.

* **Strip:** **AI sessions**, **Share of all traffic**, **Assistants**, **Page views**, **Engaged sessions**, **Engagement rate** and **Key events**.
* **AI assistants:** sessions from each assistant, such as ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, Claude and Copilot.
* **Landing pages:** where those visitors arrive.

### Can AI read your site?

Weelkit checks your site's `robots.txt` and `llms.txt` once a day. The header shows the site and when it was checked, and the summary says how many AI crawlers are allowed.

* **robots.txt:** **Found**, **Not found**, **Could not be read** or **Too large to read**. Choose **Open** to see the file.
* **llms.txt:** **Published**, **Not published** or **Could not be checked**.
* **The crawler table:** each AI crawler Weelkit checks, such as GPTBot, ClaudeBot and PerplexityBot, with what it's **Used for** (**Model training**, **AI search**, or **Reads a page when a person asks**), its **Access** (**Allowed**, **Restricted**, **Blocked** or **Unknown**) and the **Rule applied** from your `robots.txt`.

The check starts once Google Analytics or Search Console is connected and has synced. To see how AI assistants answer, mention and cite you, choose **Open AEO & GEO**.

## Site health

The speed and indexing of your main site: the site in your Search Console property, or else the site where your published articles live. Switch between **Mobile** and **Desktop** at the top.

* **LCP**, **INP**, **CLS**, **FCP** and **TTFB**: how the site feels to real visitors in Chrome, each rated **Good**, **Needs work** or **Poor**. Choose one to see its value at the 75th percentile, its weekly trend against the good and poor limits, and the share of page loads in each band. When Google has too little Chrome traffic for your site, the page says so.
* **Performance (Lighthouse)**, **TBT (lab)** and **Speed Index (lab)**: your homepage's results in a Lighthouse test, run once a day, with their daily history.
* **Homepage Lighthouse:** your homepage's **Accessibility**, **Best practices** and **SEO** scores, its lab timings, and **Audits to fix first**.
* **Indexing coverage:** how many of your published articles Google has indexed, and how many are **Not indexed**, **Waiting for Google to inspect** or **Outside the Search Console property**. Choose **Index status of each article** to open [SEO health](https://docs.weelkit.com/metrics/performance.md#seo-health) in Performance.

## Productivity

What your team produces in Weelkit. This page uses Weelkit's own data, so it shows **Syncing live** and needs no Google connection.

* **Strip:** **Articles**, **Writings**, **Revisions**, **Images**, **AI requests**, **Tokens** and **Contributors** in the period.
* **Publishing activity:** published articles and drafts per month. This chart always covers the last 12 months, whatever the period.
* **Content health:** published articles flagged by a check, such as **Not updated in six months**, **Missing meta description**, **Thin content** or **Low engagement**. Choose a check, or **View flagged articles**, to see them.
* **Categories** and **Authors:** how many articles each has, and how many are published.
* **Articles:** every article, with its **Status**, **Words**, **Page views**, **Avg. time** and **Published** date. Search by title or author, and filter by status, category and author. From a row's actions, choose **Info** for the article's details, **Open in editor**, or, for a published article, **View performance**.
