# Quickstart

> Create your account and organization, then write, check and publish your first article with Weelkit AI.

**1. Create your account**

On the Weelkit sign-in page, choose **Create one**. Sign up with **Continue with Google** or **Continue with GitHub**, or choose **Continue with Email** and enter your **Full name**, email address and a password of at least 8 characters.

If you sign up with email, open the verification link Weelkit sends you before you sign in. One account works across all your organizations.

**2. Create your organization**

The first time you sign in, Weelkit asks you to create an organization: the workspace where your team shares content and settings.

1. Choose **Create an organization**, enter the **Organization Name** and **Organization Type**, and choose **Create Organization**.
2. Connect your CMS, or choose **Skip** and do it later in **Organization settings → CMS**.
3. Choose **Send Invites** to invite teammates by email, or choose **Skip** and do it later in **Organization settings → Teams**.
4. Choose **Go to Dashboard**.

If a teammate invited you, open the link in the invitation email instead. You join their organization and skip this step.

**3. Start a chat**

In the sidebar, choose **New chat** and describe what you want, for example:

> Write a 900-word article for marketing leads on how to plan a content calendar. Cite recent sources.

Press **Enter** to send. The AI plans the work, researches, and saves a draft article. See [Chat with Weelkit AI](https://docs.weelkit.com/chat/chat-with-ai.md).

**4. Review the draft**

The article opens in the editor next to the chat. Edit it directly, or ask the AI for changes in the chat. To change one passage, select it and choose **AI Edit**. Everything saves automatically. See [Write and format](https://docs.weelkit.com/articles/write-and-format.md).

**5. Check and publish**

Open **SEO & Metadata** in the editor's top bar to fill in metadata and review the SEO and AEO checks, which update as you edit. **To fix** lists what's left to do. When the article is ready, choose **Send draft to CMS** (or **Publish to CMS**, depending on your CMS settings). The article's status follows your CMS. See [Checks and publishing](https://docs.weelkit.com/articles/checks-and-publishing.md).
